Calhoun County looking for info on vandalized safety lights

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about vandalism to safety lights along Old Seadrift Highway.

Officers placed signs and safety lights to alert drivers about newly installed culverts along Old Seadrift Highway.

Calhoun County Precinct 4 shared a photo to their Facebook page showing one of those safety lights with bullet holes.

The post says “it is becoming more of a hazard when our safety precautions are being vandalized.”

A complaint has not yet been filed but Calhoun County Chief Deputy Johnny Krause says they are looking into the incident and urges anyone who sees or knows anything to call the sheriff’s office.
