Businesses in Victoria and surrounding counties are allowed to operate at 75% occupancy
TABC approved Bars to reopen
VICTORIA, Texas—– On Saturday, February 20th the City of Victoria and surrounding counties hit seven days of being under the 15% COVID-19 hospitalization rate in the Trauma Service Area. Governor Greg Abbott GA-32 executive order allows counties that are under 15% hospitalization rate for seven days to re-open bars if requested by the County Judge.
This morning in Commissioners Court, County Judge Ben Zeller says he filed the required forms with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission to get the bars and other establishments reopened and the request was approved by the TABC. Now all businesses are allowed to operate at 75% occupancy.
