Business Report: KFC to eliminate harmful ingredients
A popular chicken chain is cutting out harmful ingredients.
KFC announced it will eliminate harmful antibiotics from its chicken by the end of next year.
By sales, KFC is the second largest American chicken chain after Chick-fil-A.
But while KFC is pledging to cut just some antibiotics, mainly those found in human medicine, Chick-fil-A has promised to remove all antibiotics from its poultry by 2019.
Other national chains, such as Subway and Taco Bell previously announced similar plans last year.
