Bubba the Gorilla Returns at Honda Grand Reopening

A furry Victoria icon is here to stay. That, according to one local business.
Management at Honda of Victoria says “bubba” the gorilla will now greet customers at their dealership.
Now, Bubba is no ordinary mascot. He actually has a history gracing area store fronts with his infectious smile and black fur. He first appeared in the 1970’s at tom’s vacuum center, then moved around from business to business throughout the years. Sales manager Frank Guirasco says bubba makes the perfect mascot for their store’s re-grand opening today.

“He’s like part of history here in town, I mean he has been such a figure,” Guirasco said.
And you can spot bubba along Navarro street in front of the dealership.
