Brian Rowell wins third Victoria Open

The Victoria Open golf tournament was a close one all week at the Victoria Country Club, and the final round on Saturday was no different.

Two-time Victoria Open champion Brian Rowell headed into the final round just one-stroke off the lead. On Saturday, it all came down to the 18th hole for him. If he par’d the hole, it would’ve gone to a five-person playoff, all tied at eight-under. However, Rowell birdied the final hole to pull ahead. He wins his third Victoria Open – his previous wins coming in 2012 and 2015. This time, he shot a final-round 71 to finish the tournament at nine-under. With that, he took home a first-place check for $27,500 dollars.

Dylan Healey went into the final round with a one-shot lead, but he shot seven-over on Saturday to finish the tournament tied for 17th at three-under.
