High pressure builds in Wednesday through Thursday giving us fair weather for the middle of the week. The next front arrives Friday bringing another good chance of rain. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s through Sunday, dropping to the upper 70s after the frontal passage. Synopsis: Moisture is expected to increase Sunday night through Monday ahead of the approaching cold front and from remnants of Tropical Cyclone Roslyn moving across the area. As the cold front reaches the Crossroads Monday evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the area. These showers and thunderstorms are expected to hang around through Tuesday morning, with Monday night looking to be the most active period. By Tuesday afternoon, significantly drier air will filter into the region as high pressure builds in the wake the cold front. With high pressure and subsidence remaining in place next week, dry conditions will be expected to continue. Rain chances will return to the forecast late next week ahead of our next cold front. Temperatures will remain warm Sunday with much of the area in the mid to upper 80s.. In the wake of the cold front early next week temperatures are expected to drop into the upper 70s along the coast. Temperatures will begin to gradually warm up by mid-week next week before the arrival of the next front Friday. Similarly to the high temperatures, overnight low temperatures will remain mild Sunday night ahead of the cold front before dropping into the lower 50s to lower 60s Tuesday night. Overnight lows will also begin to gradually warm up by mid-week.
