BREAKING: Victoria County now under a burn ban, effective immediately

VICTORIA, Texas – On Tuesday, County Judge Ben Zeller issued a burn ban to take effect immediately for Victoria County. Judge Zeller issued the burn ban at the recommendation of the Victoria County Fire Marshal.
The National Weather Service Corpus Christi has forecast critical fire weather conditions to affect Victoria County over the next few days. The Victoria Fire Marshal’s Office has asked the public to refrain from outdoor burning while this burn ban is in effect. It also recommends that residents restrain from burning of household trash during the duration of the burn ban.
