Bluebonnet Youth Ranch changing its name
The campus will be known as Homes for Families at Bluebonnet Ranch.
VICTORIA, Texas—A major change for the Bluebonnet Youth Ranch.
The ranch, based in Yoakum, is entering into a partnership with South Texas Children Home. The campus will be known as Homes For Families At Bluebonnet ranch. This partnership will not only allow more children at the ranch but will also allow the ranch workers to take care of and educate mothers. South Texas Children Home is all over the state and is international with staffing that can be used in multiple places. This big change will help the Ranch handle new federal and state laws that deal with children’s homes. The Bluebonnet Youth Ranch was founded in 1968. The ranch has helped more than 600 young people.
Said Greg Huskey, STCH Ministries Vice President, “Our program will be replicated there, help moms at Bluebonnet camps. The leadership came together and wanted to partner to help families and kids in south Texas.”
The Bluebonnet Youth Ranch Celebrity Golf Pro-Am returns to Victoria Country Club after a one-year pandemic absence October 10-11.
