Bloomington High School celebrates graduation with permission from county judge

BLOOMINGTON, Texas – Bloomington High School graduates were able to celebrate graduating Friday, thanks to special permission by the Victoria County judge after a rise in COVID-19 cases.

Judge Ben Zeller issued approval for BHS to have graduation but required everyone in attendance to wear a mask.

If you didn’t have one, a mask was provided at the gate.

Each guest filled out a COVID-19 questionnaire and each graduate was allowed 5 guests.

Guests were also encouraged to bring a towel because bleachers were wet.

Anyone was recently tested for COVID-19 and waiting for results, was asked not to attend.
