LaShanda McCuin is from Dallas, she joined KAVU in February 2019 as a Multimedia Journalist.
At a young age, LaShanda was a track and field athlete and her talents earned her a college scholarship to Langston University.
She graduated from Langston with a bachelors degree in psychology. Then she went back to school for broadcasting journalism.
LaShanda found her passion in broadcast journalism and became a voice for the voiceless. She also loves telling stories and providing information to the community.
