Haley Closson was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and developed an interest in all things entertainment at a very young age. It wasn’t until she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she was introduced to television broadcast during her sophomore year of high school. She went on to be the lead anchor and producer throughout her schooling. She then moved to Houston and attended Sam Houston State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications in May of 2018. Very active in the department, she went on to host her own sports show, direct a weekly Spanish news broadcast, and be one of the school’s radio personalities. She even wrote and assisted on various film sets and won state & national awards for both film and television. Her senior year, she held 2 major internships: 104.1 KRBE as a co-host on the late-night Top 40 radio show, and then a Programming/Production intern at ABC 13-KTRK. Both were incredible experiences. She was hired on after her internship with ABC13 as a talent/reporter for the community affairs program called ABC13 & You.

Haley’s favorite past-time is singing. She also loves all things Disney and enjoys spending time with her friends and family. In her spare time, you can find her working on music. Her biggest aspirations include being a successful singer or being a host on E! News.

Don’t be shy! Say hi if you see her out and about (she speaks Spanish too!)
