Geno Perez is from a small town outside of Austin named Elgin. After high school, he played college football as a wide receiver for Hardin-Simmions University in Abilene. He then transferred to Texas State University where he received his bachelors degree in electronic media and mass communication. Geno worked at his school’s radio station, KTSW, where he was a sports reporter and a co-host for a morning sports show. After graduation, he worked at his local newspaper company as a sports reporter. He is excited for this opportunity to be a news anchor in Victoria.
Geno loves spending time with family and friends. When he has free time, he likes to play sports, sing karaoke, cook and float the river. You can find him cheering on his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees. If you see him out and about be sure and say howdy.
