Brandon Houston Lee Davis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and grew up in Glenpool, Oklahoma. He is the middle child of the family, having an older brother, Travis and younger sister, Taylor. In 2011, Brandon graduated Collinsville High School in Oklahoma.
After spending four years in the casino industry in Oklahoma, Brandon went back to school at Tulsa Community College in 2015. He graduated in the Spring of 2017 with an Associates of Arts, Mass Communication after spending two years working on shows at Tulsa Community College. He went to Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) after graduating TCC. During this time, he was involved in club organizations including Oklahoma State’s student sports program, “The Poke Report”. He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science, Sports Media after two years in the Sports Media program at OSU in the Fall of 2019.
In November 2019, he accepted a job as morning associate producer at WOAI/KABB in San Antonio, Texas. He learned the basics on what it takes to build morning news shows with over six and a half hours of news from both stations every weekday morning. He helped cover numerous events in San Antonio and the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic until he left the station in July 2020. Since joining KAVU-TV in July 2020, Brandon has spear-headed multiple projects including the 2020 Election Coverage and producing Crossroads Football Live.
Brandon is an avid sports fan and gamer. His favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs and of course, the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He is always looking at social media to see what is trending around the world and locally in the Crossroads. His personality is vibrant, and he always tries to make everyone laugh every day at work.
