Big Positive For Bloomington Football

Brown First Bobcat To Sign With College In Four Years

The day after National Signing Day, very big for Bloomington football.

Brityn Brown becomes the first Bobcat football player to sign with a college in four years. Brown, an All-District linebacker and running back, signing with Culver-Stockton College, an NCAA Division III school in Canton, Missouri. A two-year varsity starter, Brown averaged six tackles per game. I talked with him and Bloomington football head coach Chris Horn.

Said Brown, “It’s been a dream my whole life to go play at the next level. I’m just excited to get the chance. ”

Said coach Horn, “It’s important for kids to see that’s possible, to give them a way to move on and go to the next level. It doesn’t always have to be through sports but it’s good to see he’s looking forward to going to college. “
