VICTORIA, Texas-A big drop in new COVID-19 cases in Victoria County from January to February.
This information from David Gonzales of the Victoria County Public Health Department. For last December, Victoria County had 851 new cases of COVID-19. After the holidays, in January, there were 1,389 COVID-19 new cases in Victoria County, an increase of 538 cases in one month. Last month, there were 525 cases in Victoria County, a one-month drop of 854 cases. Percentage wise, Victoria County averaged 18.8 new cases daily in February compared to 44.8 new cases per day in January.
