Beta approaching the Texas coast

VICTORIA, Texas- This evening expect increasing winds along with scattered showers and storms. Winds expected to be sustained 15-20 mph with higher gusts. Rain could be heavy at times. Flood threat increases tomorrow. Some rainfall totals will range from 3-8 inches with isolated higher amounts. Isolated tornadoes possible. Storm surge will range from 2-4 feet along the coast.

 

TONIGHT: Showers and storms with increasing winds. Low 70. Winds North 15-20 mph with gusts over 25 mph.

TOMORROW and TUESDAY: Rainy and windy. Some rain could be heavy. High 77. Winds NNW 20-40 mph. Gusts 45+ mph

WEDNESDAY: Decreasing clouds and rain chances as Beta leaves our area. Low 71. High 85. Winds North 10 mph

THURSDAY TO FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and very warm. Lows upper 60s. Highs upper 80s. Winds North 10 mph on Thursday, South 10 mph on Friday.
