Benjamin Flores, 38, charged on multiple charges

VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria Police Department officers arrested Benjamin Flores, 38, on Thursday, April 28, on multiple charges. The officers responded to a motel in the 3700 block of Houston Highway, in reference to a gun call, at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Thursday.

An officer located Flores, who matched the description provided, in the back of the location carrying a backpack. He took off running and dropped the backpack. Officers, however, eventually caught and detained Flores.

Law enforcement searched Flores for an incident to arrest. They found Flores to be in possession of stolen firearm, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, Alprazolam and Hydrocodone.

Officers ultimately arrested and took Benjamin Flores to the Victoria County Jail for the following charges:

  •  Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >=4G<200G (3 counts)
  • Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence With Intent to Impair
  • Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG3/4 <28G
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 <1G
  • Theft of a Firearm
  • Evading Arrest or Detention
  • Possession of Marijuana
