Bay City police chaplains put their mark on patrol units

Bay City Police Chaplains put their mark on Bay City patrol units on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. The Chaplains requested approval to have stickers made and put on all the patrol units. The stickers read, “Blessed are the peacemakers.”

Chief Lister gave his approval for the project. The Police Chaplains funded the project and had stickers made for each unit to display. Tuesday the Chaplains met with Chief Lister and presented the stickers. Together they placed one of the stickers on the first unit.

Chief Lister said, “These stickers represent our departmental organizational values. We as a community need to start caring enough to take a real stand. Our moral and ethical beliefs should mean something. We can make a difference in our community and the world in which we live, if we all just unite in doing what is right.” All units now can be seen driving around town with the new stickers proudly displayed.
