Bay City Parks and Rec asks for donations to build special needs park

Bay City Parks and Recreation is asking for your help to raise money for the first Playscape Park in Matagorda County.
This park caters to special needs, blind and hearing impaired children. The park is completely wheelchair accessible.
Bay City Parks and Rec has a 30 day crowdfunding campaign to raise money for the park.
Their goal is $40,000 to start building the park in phases. The park is expected to cost more than $150,000.
City officials say there’s a need for a park catered to special needs children.
The park will be built at Le Tulle Park.
