Bay City detectives investigate shots fired at apartment complex

Detectives investigating deadly conduct were dispatched to the area of 900 Avenue J in reference to shots fired on Monday, July 30, 2018 at about 1:54 a.m. Officers began checking the area and located a white Pontiac with a busted window and multiple bullet holes in the other windows. Some of the bullets traveled through the window and hit a Ford pickup that was parked next to the Pontiac. Officers made contact with the owner of the vehicles who told them there was a silver Kia on the other side of the apartment complex that had also been shot. The complainant told officers he heard four to five shots then heard people talking. He was able to provide officers with a possible suspect as he had been threatened by someone the day before. Fortunately, the only damage was to vehicles and nobody was injured during this incident. Detective Armando Galvan is actively working this case. Anyone with information can call 979-245-8500 and ask to speak with Detective Galvan.
