Bad News Chairs host Crossroads Wheelchair Softball Classic

The Victoria Bad News Chairs hosted day one of the third-annual Crossroads Wheelchair Softball Classic on Saturday. This is the biggest softball tournament the adaptive sports team has hosted yet, with five teams competing in Victoria at the Challenged Athletes Dream Complex.

The Bad News Chairs started the first day off against the San Antonio STRAPS, but lost 13-3. Later in the day, they faced the Houston Rollin’ Astros., but also dropped that game. Other teams competing included the Pasadena Tirrnadoes and the Karnes City Young Gunz.

The Bad News Chairs will look to bounce back on Sunday in the first game of the final day. They face the Young Gunz at 9 a.m., then the Tirrnadoes at 10:30 a.m.
