“It’s really exciting. Before Level 5 I had never won a gold medal and it was super exciting the first time because of how far I came. I had an injury.and I didn’t think I could do it. But then I just proved myself wrong, I guess. “
Said head coach Beth Perez, “She’s worked super hard so she deserves this. Our first meet did not go as planned. The scores were low and we had some falls. Having this being her second competition at the level 5 and her winning the entire meet for the district., she earned it and she deserved it. “
“I had severe tendinitis. My coaches helped me and my parents and my doctors. I pretty much when I was on the podium I went wooo Mom. I won. I couldn’t believe it. It was really exciting.”
