Applications open for new Executive Director at Victoria County United Way
Dolly Stokes steps down after three years
VICTORIA, Texas — Dolly Stokes has served as the Executive Director at the Victoria County United Way for more than three years now, and she thinks it’s time to do something different.
Stokes said that after she retires on June 30th, she plans to travel and continue to do volunteer work within the Victoria community.
A search committee is currently looking for qualified applicants to fill her shoes. The application deadline is Friday April 19th.
“We are looking for a candidate who is compassionate, caring works with volunteers can build relationships and help raise money for all the organizations that work so closely together to help others in need here,” said Stokes.
They are also looking locally and in other locations for candidates who have experience with United Way or in non-profit organizations.
