Annual Christmas parade sparks new tradition

The 30 plus Murillo family participated in the annual Christmas parade with a traditionally decorated float.

VICTORIA, Texas – The annual Christmas parade had many floats participating in it this year. As many families and friends gathered in downtown to watch the floats go by, the Murillo family felt eager to participate in the parade this year. They have at least 30 family members and entered into the parade with the Texas Mud Broggers ATV crew club. The family’s spokesperson Melissa Murillo said she was excited to reveal the float to the entire city because they specifically decorated it with classic Christmas colors, red and green, along with bright lights.

She was excited the children in her family could feel extra festive, as they waved to the crowds watching the parade this year. It was great for the Murillo family, as they had the opportunity to participate in the parade this year, instead of watching it.
