After a difficult year, UHV is looking forward to a brighter future.

New degree programs and building expansions in the works

 

 

 

Victoria, TX – Dr. Bob Glenn, president of UHV, gave an update on the university Tuesday morning at the Victoria Economic Development Partnership meeting. Glenn said that UHV has resumed normal operations, with full face to face classroom instruction. In addition, Glenn stated that new upcoming degree programs beginning within the next year or so will further attract new students to UHV.

“We are going through the accreditation process, for our computer science program for a degree in computer engineering. That will allow us to go forward with chemical civil and mechanical engineering, and other areas, which I think are critical to this area,” said Glenn.

The university is also working on a degree program in animal science. the new student center and stem buildings are open for students.
