Synopsis: Conditions will remain dry Sunday night while low temperatures stay in the 70’s.  Monday will be breezy and dry which is good for the ponded water that area took on from last weekend’s storms.  Then, rain chances increase on Tuesday as a cold front drops down out of the north, allowing for some scattered showers, On Wednesday though, the area starts to clear up, dry off as South Texas looks to see a number of days with sunshine.  The high-pressure system that moves in on Wednesday will allow for temperatures to stay around and even above average while the sun shines.  Temperatures will be in the 80’s but far off to the west there could be triple digit temperatures (and even warmer with the heat indices) in Rio Grande as warm air pushes up from the south (Mexico).
