Actor Luke Perry hospitalized after stroke

Actor Luke Perry was hospitalized Wednesday in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke, TMZ reported.

Paramedics were called to the “Beverly Hills 90210” star’s home in Sherman Oaks around 9:40 a.m., and Perry was taken to the hospital.

The Associated Press, citing Perry’s publicist, reported Thursday that the actor, 52, is under observation.

Perry currently stars on the hit teen drama “Riverdale,” and had been shooting episodes recently in L.A., according to TMZ.

Fox announced Wednesday that a “Beverly Hills 90210” reboot is in the works, but Perry has reportedly not signed on to return as Dylan McKay, the character that made him famous.
