About half return for their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the Victoria Television Group
VICTORIA, Texas – About 25 out of the 53 that were scheduled to get their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine made it back to the Victoria Television Group parking lot. The majority of those that return were minors who got their first dose on May 13. U.S. Army sergeants were out in the rain from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with big smiles ready to vaccinate residents as part of the ongoing fight against the spread of COVID-19.
Hayden Hindley, an 8th grade student at the Victoria I.S.D. said he was more than ready to be fully vaccinated.
The 15-year-old said he didn’t suffer from any side effects after his first shot.
He’s ready to get back on campus.
“Going back to school for sure,” Hayden said. “I was online this whole year. Being back with my friends and anything like that. Any social activity.”
It’s part of who he is.
“I love to stay busy,” Hayden said. “Any social activity.”
If you received your first dose at the first vaccine day but didn’t make it back for the second dose don’t worry just make an appointment at a local pharmacy or through your local health department as soon as you can.
