A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Goliad County through 8:15 pm CST.
At 7:42 pm CST, doppler radar was tracking an area of thunderstorms 7 miles south of Weesatche, or 7 miles northwest of Goliad. The hazards were winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch (maximum hail = 0.50”) hail that were indicated on radar. The impacts are gusty winds (maximum wind gusts = 30 mph) that could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Plus, minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include Goliad and Charco. This includes the following highways: U.S. Highway 183 between mile markers 634 and 644. U.S. Highway 59 between mile markers 664 and 672.
Precautionary/preparedness actions should be, if outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
