A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Calhoun and central Victoria Counties through 3:30 pm CST.
At 2:38 pm CST, doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Telferner, or 7 miles east of Victoria, moving southwest at 15 mph.
The hazards will be winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail that was radar indicated.
The impact will be gusty winds that could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include: Victoria, Guadalupe, Victoria Colony Creek Country Club, Dacosta,
Wood Hi, Bloomington, Victoria Detar Hospital North, Victoria Riverside Park, Placedo, Victoria College, Victoria Mall, Saxet Lakes, Brentwood Subdivision, Inez, Victoria Regional Airport,
Telferner, Ball Airport Area and Downtown Victoria.
This includes the following highways:
U.S. Highway 59 between mile markers 622 and 648.
U.S. Highway 77 between mile markers 572 and 588.
U.S. Highway 87 between mile markers 808 and 830.
