A low income apartment for senior citizens will be coming to Victoria soon

VICTORIA, Texas–During the City Council meeting, the City of Victoria approved an Austin developer to purchase land in Victoria to build a low-income apartment complex for senior citizens.

This new development is scheduled to be built near the 4600 block of Ben Jordan across from Foxwood Homes.

Jesús Garza, Victoria County City Manager said, “Enchanted Garden Apartments is the name of the project, and the project will be made of 96 units, 14 of which will be market-rate and 82 will be staggered and offered at different levels according to the percentage of income of individuals and so literally some these rents will range from 300.00 hundred dollars up to 900 hundred dollars. So its a truly an affordable housing project”.
