A Hot Day in the Crossroads Sunday
Similar to Saturday, there was a couple of showers in Victoria and Jackson Counties. We will likely see a few isolated showers Monday too. Today, heat index values returned in the triple digits. A cold front will make its way into the Crossroads Tuesday. In addition, Tuesday will be the wettest day of the week. Rain coverage will be around 50%.
Rain chances will decrease on Wednesday as the cold front pushes further south. Rain chances will not go away as we progress into the weekend. An upper level disturbance may lead to some daytime storms into the weekend. In areas that don’t see rain, temperatures will be hot with highs in the middle to upper 90s. The tropics remain good and quiet in the Atlantic.
