A Hot Afternoon in the Crossroads

A roasty and toasty afternoon in the Crossroads with some locations reaching the century mark. Victoria’s high made it to 100 degrees. The hot temperatures will persist for Sunday and Monday too. Our next chance of rain will be on Tuesday. A cold front will approach the region to provide us with showers and storms. Of course, the front will not bring us any cooler temperatures. The upper high builds back in for Wednesday and Thursday. Higher moisture content returns Friday. The upper high will move northward to allow possibly scattered showers and storms Friday and Saturday. Temperatures over the next seven days will be hot in the middle to upper 90s. Lows at night in the middle to upper 70s. In the tropics, the Atlantic is quiet for now.
