VICTORIA, Texas – The Victoria County Public Health Department is reporting a COVID-19-related death in Victoria County. The patient, a female Victoria County resident in her 80’s, had been hospitalized in Victoria. To respect and honor the family, no further personal information will be released.
It’s unfortunate that our County has lost one of its residents because of the spread of this virus. The Victoria County Public Health Department extends its deepest condolences to the patient’s family and friends.
As of 8:00 pm today, there are 82 new, confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Victoria County, and 33 newly recovered individuals. Victoria currently has a total of 1,754 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
With the influx of new cases, we are currently experiencing delays on investigations.
