3.3 magnitude earthquake detected near Smiley
SMILEY, Texas – An earthquake at 3.3 magnitude was near Smiley on Saturday. A second earthquake at 2.6 magnitude was also detected near Smiley Saturday.
The first and larger quake was measured to have a depth of 2.5 miles and occurred at 12:49 a.m. and the second quake occurred at 11:07 a.m. Saturday with a depth of 1.5 miles.
