VICTORIA, Texas—The Victoria County Public Health Department said there are 14 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday.

The state reports 312 people in Victoria County have died from this disease. That’s two more than reported on Tuesday.
The health department tells us that since June 24, 87.20% of the new COVID-19 cases in the county are among the unvaccinated.
The Victoria six-county region now has a COVID-19 hospitalization rate of 18.78%. There are 117 COVID-19 patients in hospitals in the region, with 40 in adult ICU beds. There are 19 adult ICU beds available in the region.
