Fourth Round Playoff Matchups

With Saturday's third round playoff games settled, the stage is officially set for next weekend's regional finals. Let's take a look the best games around the Crossroads: 

The Cuero Gobblers, into the fourth round for the second consecutive season after their decisive victory over West Oso on Friday. The Gobblers will play district foe Navarro - who they've already defeated once this season - in the 4A Division II regional finals at Comalander Stadium in San Antonio. 

With their win over Shiner, Refugio, set to face Mason next Friday in the Alamodome. Start time for the Bobcats' round four contest is set for 3:30 pm. Refugio will be the visiting team in that game against the Punchers.

Calhoun is set to play at the Alamodome on Friday as well. After defeating Kerrville Tivy, 49-39 on Saturday afternoon, the Sandcrabs punched their ticket to the regional finals and a date with Calallen. That game will take place following Refugio's round four battle, slated to start at 7:30 pm. 

Yoakum defeated Goliad on Saturday night to set up a showdown with district opponent Edna in the 3A Division I regional finals. The Cowboys are coming off of a 27-0 shutout victory over Rice Consolidated and are playing in just their second fourth round playoff game since 1991. Start time for the Bulldogs and Cowboys is scheduled for 7 pm on Friday at Texas State's Jim Wacker Field at Bobcat Stadium. 

Rounding things out, Tidehaven is set to play East Bernard on Friday in Alvin. The Tigers defeated Van Vleck, 17-0, on Friday to earn their spot in round number four. That game between Tidehaven and East Bernard, slated to take place at Alvin's Freedom Field at 7 pm.
