Telferner Post Office Will Resume Full Operations, Monday, Nov. 5

TELFERNER, TX – On Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, the Telferner Post Office, 319 FM 1686, Telferner, TX 77988, will resume full operations.  The office implemented a temporary suspension on Aug. 6, 2018, following a vehicle crashing into the building. The building has been repaired and is now deemed safe for customers and employees to return.

During the temporary shutdown, PO Box and retail services for Telferner Post Office customers were made available from the nearby Inez Post Office, 125 Church St., Inez, TX 77968. Telferner PO Box customers may begin picking up their mail at the Telferner office beginning Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018. Retail hours of operation for the Telferner PO will resume as before, Monday to Friday, 7:15 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday.
