UHV Women's Soccer Has Up & Down Week

Posted: Updated:

UHV women's soccer won and lost last week.
The Jaguar women picked up their first win of the season last Thursday at Paul Quinn, then lost at the University Of The Southwest on Saturday.
The UHV women are 1-3 in conference play, 1-5 overall.  I talked with two Jaguar women about their win one, lose one week. Said center defensive midfielder Hayden Janner, "After the win we were on a high. We were excited and ready to get into that next game. I don't think we really came to play very well." Said center defender Maria Grogan, "The first win was really nice. It really gave us a high, we were all pumped up. In the second one, we came into the game ready to play. We just couldn't find the back of the net with the ball."
