Simon Hogben Photography, a North East Wedding Photographer, announces the launch of his new website specialising only in candid and storytelling wedding photography. He serves the North East of England and Yorkshire and redesigned the website to include features such as the option of giving cash towards the photography as opposed to a traditional wedding gift.

“A wedding brings two individuals in love together as one. Their story is unique and the Wedding Photographer needs to tell this story through the photos of the day. My job is to do exactly this while ensuring the photos look natural and candid. Whether the couple is sharing an intimate moment or laughing with friends and family, I’ll capture the image so they can relive it again and again,” Simon Hogben, a Middlesbrough Wedding Photographer, explains.

Each element of the event likewise shares the story of the couple. From the ceremony itself to the cake selected, the personality of the couple shines through. The photos taken come together to capture this story for the couple as well as future generations. It is estimated that the average wedding photographer takes anywhere from 1200 to 1500 photos of the day. However, only 300 pictures, on average, are typically shared with the couple.

“To fully capture the moments of the day, the photographer must blend in with the crowd. If he or she stands out, the couple and the guests will be more self-conscious. I work to ensure this doesn’t happen, as I mingle with the guests and work to make the camera as unobtrusive as possible. This ensures the pictures do not appear to be posed and every picture I take and present to you contributes to the telling of the story in a natural and unscripted way,” Hogben continues.

Photos taken before the big day may also help tell the unique story of the couple. For example, couples may wish to share photos of different places they visited during their courtship or landmarks they have come across on outings. Photography can be used in a variety of ways during the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception.

“Be sure the wedding photographer understands the importance of certain elements throughout the festivities, such as these pictures. They need to be captured on film to truly give others an idea of the couple and what makes their relationship special. When clients choose to work with me, we spend time getting to know each other. By doing so, I can make certain I capture those moments that truly speak to them and the love they share. Contact me today to learn more about my wedding photography services. I’m excited to talk with you and learn more about how we can capture your special day,” Hogben declares.
