UHV Softball NAIA Nationals Updates & H.S. Baseball And Softball Playoff Info

Posted: Updated:

UHV softball loses its first game at the NAIA Regionals in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The Jaguars fall to Thomas, Georgia, 8-3.
Torey Dumont gave up seven those runs in an inning and two thirds. St. Joe ex Alyssa Adames had UHV's RBI. The Jaguars were scheduled to play in the losers bracket this afternoon at 5:00. There is a rain delay currently.
For the first time in two years, East baseball is in round three of the playoffs. The Titans get that far from sweeping Medina Valley in two straight. East baseball will not have to sweep a best two out of three this week to advance in the playoffs.
That's because it is a one-game series for the 5A Regional quarterfinals.
It is Friday night at 7:00 at Wolff Stadium in San Antonio. It comes against Kerrville Tivy, the number four ranked 5A team in the state.
