Port Lavaca names new city manager

The Port Lavaca interim City Manager is now becoming an official part of the city. 

City Council voted to offer the Interim City Manager William Dilibero the position of City Manager. 

As the City’s Chief Executive Officer, the City Manager performs financial monitoring, presents the annual budget, prepares City Council agenda, provides citizen assistance, and works on economic and community development opportunities.

William “Bill” DiLibero is the City Manager in Port Lavaca, Texas. Previously he worked in County and State government in Massachusetts. Since 2002 he has worked in municipal government in Rhode Island; Charlestown, Cumberland, Foster and Hopkinton, and Texas; South Padre Island, Beeville and now Port Lavaca. 

Dilibero was the interim City Manager for five months in Port Lavaca.
