UHV Baseball and Softball Results From Today

UHV Baseball in action today in a doubleheader at Riverside against University of the Southwest. UHV won Game One 12 to 6. UHV scored four runs in the fourth and fifth inning. Jacob Atkinson went 3-4 scoring two runs. Nolan Maciejeski went 1-3 scoring three RBI. Joshua Fonseca went 1-2 scoring two runs and two RBIs. Garrett Gray Mathis went 1-4 scoring a run and two RBI.

UHV won Game Two 12 to 3. Zachariah Vela went 2-3 scoring two runs and with 5 RBIs. Tanner Knowles pitched six and a third innings only giving up a run. Joshua Fonseca went 2-4 scoring a run. Derek Maciejeski went 3-3 scoring three runs. Nathan Letien went 1-4 scoring two RBIs. 

UHV Baseball is now 8-20 with a 4-8 record in the Red River Conference. UHV Baseball is on the road next weekend at Texas College Friday and Saturday.

UHV Softball trying to sweep Langston College today. UHV would come up short 4-2. Langston scored two runs in the fourth and fifth innings to give them the win. Gabby Davila went 1-3 scoring a run. Michelle revels went 1-2 with a RBI. Revels would also be the losing pitcher today giving up four earned runs in five innings. Angelica Davidson went 1-4 scoring a RBI. 

Langston was 0-11 against UHV in softball before winning today's game. 

Jags are now 11-12 and 4-5 in conference. Tuesday the jags return home against Texas College.
