UHV Softball and Baseball In Action Today

UHV Baseball in conference play taking on LSU Shreveport at Riverside. In the top of ninth, UHV gave up a walk to extend the Pilots lead 6-0.

In the bottom of the ninth, Jags will make a comeback. 

Chase Almendarez gets a ball over the infield which would lead to a single. Afterward, the Jags would load the bases with this single by Jacob Atkinson and two walks by Zela and Banuelos. Jags are trailing 6-1. With the bases loaded and two outs, UHV's Gavin Trevino hits a ball deep into center field. Three Jags would score. Trevino tried to stretch it to a triple. However, he tried to go back to second base and would be tagged out. UHV lose 6 to 4. 

UHV will play Shreveport twice Sunday at noon.

UHV Softball in action today taking on Texas A&M Texarkana in the rubber match of their series. The Jags would score two runs in the 4th inning to win 2 to 1. Michelle Revels picked up her first win of the season giving up one run and she would get a groundball at the end to win the game. 

She got 15 groundball outs. The Jags improve to 7-9 and 2-4 in conference. The jags will take on Oklahoma City in Farmers Branch on Tuesday..
