On the same day that Yoakum's Josh Moore signed with Texas, his twin brother was also making news. Jordan, who is about a minute older than josh, earned first team 3A All-State honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association.
He was picked for the defensive secondary, just like he earned first team all-state honors in December from the Texas AP sports editors. Last season, Jordan had 73 tackles, 10 pass break ups, and six interceptions, along with his great work on offense. In December, Jordan Moore signed with A&M. I talked with him about keeping his commitment to A&M.
"I stayed committed because they believed in me from the jump. Coach Sumlin and I had a great relationship and then Coach Fisher recruited me at Florida State. I was able to form a great relationship with him and then I fell in love with the campus, the people and the players on the team from day one. I just knew it was not far from home and so I knew immediately it was home, a place for me that I wanted to go," said Moore.
