East Defeats West in Boys and Girls Soccer Tonight

Victoria East on the attack and Aysha Izaguirre would score her only goal of the night. East is now up 2-0. West is now on the attack when Zen McKenzie gets the ball and she would score. East only up 2-1.
Later in the first half, East has a free kick. It would bounce off West and East players around the goal. East's Gabby Valenzuela is in the perfect spot to score her only goal of the night. East up 3-1.

Still in the first half, West is coming off a corner kick and Vivian Gonzales would knock this shot in. She scored twice tonight. East up 3-2 going to halftime.

In the second half, West's goalie kicks it short. It would find Kyleigh Spree-Kolos and she would drain the empty net shot. This was also her second hat trick this season. East wins 5 to 3. East goes to 4-0 in district. West falls to 3-1 in district. 

After the game, East Head Coach Misty Boenig talks about the huge win tonight. "Our entire offense played good tonight. We were moving the ball much better than we did in the past. We were looking to improve offensively. It was back and forth. This game could have went in any direction so  I am extremely happy. I am also happy how West played because that just shows within this town is only increasing," said Boenig.

East's Abraham Salazar on the attack as he scores the first goal of the night. East leads 1-0. 

In the midway point of the first half, Salazar with the free kick and Joe Aguirre with the header. Jordan Daley would score a goal in the second half. East wins 3-0. Goalie Josue Avila with five saves and the shut out. East is 4-0 in district while West is 0-4. 

At Memorial Stadium Tuesday night, the Titan Girls face Foster and the Warrior Boys take on Angleton.
