The Victoria Film Society presents "The Disaster Artist"

VICTORIA - The Victoria Film Society presents "The Disaster Artist?" (2017), directed by James Franco, at 7 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts?, 214 N. Main Street, Victoria, Texas 77901.

When Greg Sestero, an aspiring film actor, meets the weird and mysterious Tommy Wiseau in an acting class, they form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true. Directed by and starring James Franco. This film is rated R. The total run time is 1 hour and 44 minutes.

Click here to view the trailer. General admission is $9. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and pre-show trailers will begin at 6:30 p.m. before the screening. Before the movie, catch a performance by the Doe Ray Mees starting at 6 p.m. until 6:50 p.m. 

Just before the screening is scheduled to begin. Huvar's Artisan Market, will be available for pizza deliveries to the Welder Center. To call in your order in advance use this number: 361-576-9171. Pizzas are their specialty on Fridays.

Victoria Film Society members get a $2 discount per ticket. Victoria College? and University of Houston-Victoria? students, faculty and staff receive a $2 discount with valid ID. Discounts can be applied to up to four tickets per screening.
