Parts of Commercial and Glass Street to close beginning December 5th

VICTORIA, TEXAS - The City of Victoria will close Commercial Street to through traffic from Victoria Street to Moody Street and Glass Street from Power Avenue to Stayton Avenue to make pavement repairs beginning on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. This road closure is expected to take 1 week, weather permitting.

All businesses in the construction zone will remain open and accessible, and the public is encouraged to support businesses in the work zone. Through-traffic can avoid delays in the work zone by seeking alternate routes.

This construction is part of the $3,903,377.29 Downtown Water and Sewer Line Replacements   (Ph IV - Projects 1a, 2a, & 3a).The contractor is Palacios Marine and Industrial Coatings, Inc. of Palacios, Texas.
