Grace Funeral Home hold first Grace Gifts for two Victoria families

Posted: Updated:

Grace Funeral Home and the Boys and Girls Club have teamed up to treat two deserving Victoria families with dinner and gifts.

Grace Funeral Home held its First Annual Grace Gifts event, helping less fortunate families out during the holidays. Staff from the Boys and Girls Club helped pick two deserving families for Grace Funeral Home to surprise. The families were treated to dinner at Montana Mike's, and handed gift cards to Golden Corral and Target, so the parents can buy presents for their kids. Charles Hauboldt, owner of Grace Funeral home, says he wants to give back to deserving families in need, especially for the holidays.

"I hope, as I said before, to give back to the community. This is the season of giving and this is a very good starting point. We have some families here that are very challenged financially and I feel like this is where I want to give back to the community and start."

Charles Hauboldt would personally like to thank Adam Shugart and the Boys and Girls Club of Victoria for helping them make two families holidays that much better. Grace Funeral Home plans on holding this event annually with different organizations and families involved, though they do not have an organization in mind just yet.
