Port Lavaca to resume brush and bulky waste collection

The City of Port Lavaca announced Republic Services will resume collecting normal CLEAN BRUSH and BULKY WASTE services on December 4th for the Orange Zone and the week of December 18th for the Green zone.

ACCEPTABLE BULKY WASTE ITEMS are: Furniture (sofas, chairs, beds, mattresses, fixtures, dressers, and carpet); Appliances (stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, washer, dryers, refrigerators (if freon is removed and properly tagged by a licensed technician)); Other (boxes, garage items, gym equipment, tools, shelving, toilets).

UNACCEPTABLE BULKY WASTE items include Construction Debris and other hazardous materials listed on the attached information sheet. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service with Republic Services at 1-800-698-5000.
